About HandiRecords
I was inspired to create HandiRecords to make my own life easier. When my parents came to live near me in Chicago, I became the designated caretaker of their medical and business information. In an effort to keep myself organized, I created HandiRecords.
My dad, Joe, is now 91 and loves his computer, his iPod, and all University of Illinois sports teams. He's a proud retiree of the US Air Force (Chief Master Sergeant), and served in WWII in Iwo Jima.
My mom, Mary, is 88 and loves to read and remember friends and family with cards and letters. She has a green thumb and for years had beautiful flower beds around our family home. My mom can make almost anything bloom!
I left a 20+ year career in corporate Human Resources to start Blanchard Enterprises. HandiRecords is my first full product line. The mission statement for Blanchard Enterprises is to offer reasonably priced products to help our customers live better lives. An important part our mission includes donating a portion of our profits to the non-profit community. We plan to do this through some innovative fundraising partnerships with a variety of non-profits that help children, senior citizens and those with serious ongoing medical needs.
